What is CIAS Training?

In 2004 the Center for Infrastructure Assurance and Security (CIAS) formalized its training effort with grant funding from the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). Three major business training initiatives were created. For more information see our Training section.

Training Initiatives

Course Offerings

CIAS Training courses are offered in suites covering all Information Assurance (IA) topics. Courses are targeted from the beginner to the IA professional.

Custom Course Offerings

The CIAS has the unique capability to develop customized courses incorporating your organization's requirements. All of our courses can be taught in our computer classroom or we can bring the training to your site using our Mobile Classroom or your computer facilities.

DHS-FEMA Training & Exercise Integration / Training Operations (TEI/TO)

With a grant from the Department of Homeland Security Office of Training and Exercise Integration Secretariat/Training Operations (TEI/TO), the CIAS has developed a robust set of Security Training courses. Our main focus of these approved courses is on assisting states and communities to prevent, detect, respond to and recover from cyber security incidents.
