CIAS TrainingIn 2004, the training division of the CIAS was awarded a $1 million grant to develop Information Assurance (IA) courses for the Office of Domestic Preparedness (ODP) under the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). A wide variety of courses were identified and developed to assist communities in improving their cyber security posture. These courses are designed to introduce cyber security issues to cities and communities across the nation. Since that time, the CIAS training division has broadened its scope and is developing IA courses that are intended to establish and improve the skill set of the IA professionals cyber security portfolio. Our courses are offered in one of three business models:
Courses available to the public are offered under topic suites. Customized Courses can be brought to your organization or taught here in our classroom. Course content can be changed to better meet your organizational needs. Courses developed and certified under DHS-FEMA are delivered at no additional cost to the states. |
